Lynne & Amy
01What
Two sites for two members of my family. Lynne is a psychotherapist and researcher in Barcelona, and her site sets out her therapy, consulting and research work and leads to a free consult. Amy is a writer and former glassblower, and hers presents her essays, publications and lectures.
02Why
Each needed a home online that felt like them: Lynne's to earn a new client's trust, Amy's to show her writing alongside her craft. They wrote the words and supplied the photos; I designed and built both.
03How
Both are Next.js sites prerendered as static pages and styled with plain CSS Modules, with no CMS or database to maintain. Lynne's signature is a hand-drawn thistle traced to vector and recoloured through CSS masks, so each copy blooms in a different spot. Amy's sits on a photo of purple blown glass, and her lecture PDFs are rendered to images at build time so they look the same on every device.
