Panthium
01What
Panthium was a colour-based aim assist for Overwatch 2, sold with licence keys. It read a small square at the centre of the screen, picked out enemy highlight colours and steered the mouse through a custom USB device.
02Why
It was my first product with paying customers, and a hard real-time problem: see, decide and act within a single frame. It also broke the game's terms of service.
03How
Python with OpenCV and NumPy processes each 300 × 300 px capture, tuned live from a local web control panel with named JSON profiles and a canvas-drawn response curve. The panel runs on Python's standard-library HTTP server, hardened with origin checks, path-traversal guards and request size limits. A C11 host tool talks to the USB HID device over a CRC-checked packet protocol.
